The Westerville Democratic Club would like to congratulate President Elect
Barack Obama on his victory Nov. 4th. We are especially happy that Ohio is
now a BLUE state! The WDC would also like to congratulate the following
candidates for their victory last night:
Dr. Jan Gorniak, county treasurer, Ed Leonard, state school board member, Mike Collins, Judge Eric Brown,
county commissioner John O’Grady, county commissioner Paula Brooks and
state representative Nancy Garland.
Marian Harris is still waiting for
official results for her race in which she is currently ahead by 12
votes!!!
Finally we would like to congratulate David Robinson, Jan Lanier and Shawn
Dingus on hard fought races. Although they came up short on votes they
certainly worked hard for a long time in very difficult districts for
democrats to win. It has been an honor to get to know all of these
candidates and we wish them the best.

The Westerville Democratic Club was organized to reach out
to local Democrats and to those who support Democratic issues , values,
and candidates. We support activism in the areas of voter education,
registration, and support of candidates and issues.
We work with the belief that we are the grassroots base of
the political process and show our patriotism by articulating Democratic
values that impact civic life at local, state, national and international
levels.
